The Vietnamese American Association (VAA) is dedicated to preserving and celebrating Vietnamese heritage while fostering a strong, united Vietnamese-American community in North Dakota, through cultural events, educational programs, & community engagement.
The Vietnamese American Association serves as a bridge between generations by preserving our rich Vietnamese heritage and supporting our communities’ thriving presence in America. The VAA serves as an advocate for our members by providing resources to volunteers, professionals, and families who are passionate about learning about our culture, furthering their education, and forming connections. We hold a necessary space where Vietnamese culture is celebrated, voices are uplifted, and community ties grow stronger.
The VAA is very active in the Red River Area, hosting numerous annual cultural events, offering classes, and creating safe spaces for our members to gather and meet one another.
